I use Memento Database for a few small things, the app does what I need it to do. But I already had some doubts about how secure my data is, and the info I found didn’t really make me feel much better. Maybe the details are there somewhere, but they weren’t clear enough for me, which kind of confirmed my feeling that the security side could be explained better. I’d feel a lot more comfortable if backups and privacy were laid out in a simpler way. For now, 3 stars...

I mostly tried Memento Database because I needed the form builder, i feel like I was patient with it. Adding some basic fields wasn’t too bad, so it’s not like I expected it to be perfect right away. But once I started changing layouts or messing with settings, it took way more clicks than I think it should. It also lagged here and there while I was editing, which made the whole thing feel clunky. For simple forms, it can do the job, but if you’re trying to set things up smoothly, I can see it getting frustrating quickly

I’ve been using the app, but it keeps crashing on me often. A couple of times it even lost the work I was in the middle of, which is really frustrating. Is anyone else having this happen too?

I use Memento Database a lot when I’m out on jobs, the offline access is what sold me. I’m always a little wary with apps like this because I don’t want to get fooled into relying on something that only works when everything is perfect, but this one has been solid. I can open my lists, add new info, and keep working even when there’s no internet.
Once I’m back online, it syncs without making a big deal out of it. No weird surprises, no missing entries so far, just does what it says. It’s been way better than juggling messy notes on my phone, and I actually trust it now...

I wanted to like this, but the lack of app integrations is frustrating. These days, I expect tools to connect with the apps I already use without making it a whole project. Give me a break, it really needs more integration options.

I tried a few of the database templates and they did help me get started quicker, so that was nice. That said, some of them felt a little outdated or like they were missing a few details. I wouldn’t say they’re bad, exactly, but I’m sure they could be better with some cleanup and updates.

I had to restore from a backup and it failed on me twice, which was frustrating. Support did respond, but the answers felt a bit vague, like they were sticking to the usual polished company wording instead of just telling me what was actually going on. I eventually got through it, but it didn’t leave me feeling super confident.

I’ve been using Memento Database mostly to keep track of work-related stuff and set up small automations, like autofilling fields, sending reminders, and updating records. I usually end up messing with it in the afternoon after I’ve had too much coffee, and once I got the hang of the scripting side, it turned out to be handy.
I’m not giving it 5 stars because some of the docs and examples could be clearer, and I had to figure out a few things by trial and error. Still, it saves me time overall and feels flexible enough for the kind of day-to-day tracking I use it for.

I reached out to support because one of my database templates just would not sync properly, i was frustrated at first. I thought it was going to turn into one of those annoying back-and-forth situations.
They replied the same day, which actually made me feel a lot better. The first message was a little too brief, so I was still kind of irritated, but once I explained the issue in more detail, they came through and helped me get it fixed.
I’m taking off one star because I did have to ask twice before things really got moving, but overall they were polite, responsive, and got the job done. I went from annoyed to relieved, so yeah, I’d use them again.

I lost my changes after syncing again, and it’s getting really frustrating. I shouldn’t have to double-check everything, redo work, or keep backup copies just to make sure the cloud sync actually did its job.

I had a frustrating time figuring out the user permissions. They felt more confusing than they needed to be, and managing them wasn’t exactly straightforward. I kept thinking I had everything set up right, but then something would still feel off..

A few formulas worked fine, but then others either gave strange results or took way too much trial and error to set up. The help examples felt thin too, so I kept having to test even basic things over and over just to figure out what was going on. It’s probably fine for simple lists, but if calculations matter to you, it feels clunky, limited, and not something I’d want to rely on.

I’ve been using mementodatabase.com for a little while now, and it’s been straightforward overall. Adding items and organizing everything is simple enough, which I really appreciate. A few of the options took me a minute to figure out, but once I got used to it, it started saving me a lot of time!!

I tried using it for photos and files, but the attachments keep loading weird or sometimes don’t show up at all. The whole media handling part feels clunky and slow, actually. It’s annoying when the main reason I’m using it is to save stuff properly.

I liked that there’s a decent amount of customization, but you do have to play around with the settings a bit to get it feeling right. It’s not bad at all, just takes a little patience.

I tried the CSV import and export, and it worked fine for me. Straightforward overall, sorta just did what I needed without any hassle...

I actually really like this app, and the sorting works super well. But oh my gosh, the grouping can get so confusing sometimes that I feel like I need a detective board with red string just to figure out what’s going on.

Maybe it’s just me, but the interface feels really messy and I had a hard time figuring out where things were. I didn’t want to click around too much in case I messed something up, so it ended up being frustrating to use.

I’ve been trying to use the mobile app, but it freezes way too often and my entries don’t always sync properly. It’s annoying when I’m just trying to get things done and the app keeps acting up. REALLY frustrating.
